The Hock Media Center serves as the campus library for Voyager Elementary, Middle and High School Students
The Hock Media Center serves as the library on campus for Voyager elementary, middle, and high school students. The librarians meet with elementary classes for lessons, story time, and activities. Students in middle and high schools are able to walk over during their scheduled times as a class, in small groups or independently throughout open check-out times to check out books.
Some reminders about our books …
- The check-out period is (2) two weeks. After 2 weeks a book becomes overdue.
- Books can be renewed but we ask that students bring the books they are wanting to renew to the HMC. Books being requested (On Hold) by other students may not be renewed.
- We do NOT have overdue fines, but we do ask for the replacement cost for lost or damaged books. We encourage books to be returned on time to avoid any Overdue Notices.
- In addition to being returned (in person) to the library, students can utilize the return bins located in the middle and elementary school front offices. We also have a return bin located outside the library entrance that can be accessed at any time.
We welcome donations of age appropriate new and used books!! You may drop them off at the media center during school hours. Suggestions of book titles are always welcome.
Volunteers are also welcome!! Please email us at hmc@voyageracademy.net to inquire about volunteer opportunities.
You may search our catalog of books at any time and from anywhere online here: https://voyager.goalexandria.com/search
